Starting a new sport or hobby can be quite intimidating and soapbox derby racing is no different. There's new terminology, new etiquette, new tools and new people to meet. For the beginner,
there's usually more questions than answers.
To help our new families, we've established a derby buddy type of program that we call FAST - Families Assisting Starting Teams. The FAST program teams experienced families with those
families new to the sport. As mentors, these families will answer questions, share their experiences and introduce their adopted family to other Keystone families.
Listed below are all of the families who have volunteered to be mentors in the FAST program. We ask that you contact them via e-mail as an introduction and allow things to progress from that point.
When selecting a family, we recommend chosing one that lives close to you. Please note, you can click on a heading to sort the list by that heading.
